Tamio Okudas "Live Music Score App" has finally been released!
We will continue to evolve based on the feedback from the many professional musicians who have used our products!
Mr. Lyric was created in response to Tamio Okudas request that there be an app that could be used at live performances.
Therefore, this app is richly equipped with practical functions that can be used in live performances.
This app has been refined by many professional musicians and is different from other music notation apps.
This application is a free version of the one actually used by professional musicians with some limited functions (*1).
(*1) By opening all paid functions, you can use the app in the same way as professional musicians.
■Basic functions
- Setlists created from multiple scores can be connected and played back as a single piece of music, rather than being treated simply as a group of scores.
- In addition to PDF file information, you can set song title, musician name, album name, and tags for each score to narrow down, sort, and search by each. This feature allows you to quickly access the sheet music you want to see.
- By setting tempo information in a score, it is possible to run the metronome at the set tempo while playing the score. You can also choose from three different looks for the metronome, and you can customize the duration and color of the metronome.
- You can download music scores saved in DropBox directly from DropBox within the application.
- Photos taken with the devices camera or stored photos can be imported into the app as sheet music.
- All functions in the app can be tried out for free for a limited period of 3 hours once a day.
- Supports Bluetooth foot pedals such as AirTurn, allowing you to turn over music without using your hands.
- You can turn pages by swiping the screen, just like turning pages of a real music sheet.
- Supports PDF and JPG format music scores.
- You can edit the score by adding chords, drawing lines with markers, etc.
■Additional features for a fee
- It is possible to backup and restore using DropBox and to synchronize the device with that backup.
- It is possible to import photos you have taken or stored on your device as sheet music.
- A metronome can be activated in setlist playback. It is possible to set which songs in the setlist to operate on, one by one.
- Release of each advertisement.
(*1)...Professional musicians can use the development version with the proposed prototype functions, and general users can use the functions refined in the development version as the release version.
■Future developments
We plan to actively update the software with feedback from professional musicians and general users, including the ability to distribute scores, support for more music formats and other cloud storage devices. Stay tuned!
